Sunset in Mattawa, WA

Growing up in Eastern Washington, I often felt like a got the short end of the stick. No one ever knew where I was from, and people always assumed I was from Seattle. After a while, it just became easier to stop arguing and let them think that my hometown was green and rainy, when really, it’s not. In fact, it rarely rains and the sun shines almost 300 days a year. It’s beautiful, dry, and windy as can be. And the sunsets are just fantastic as can be.
