Frankfurt, Germany

February 25, 2011

Last month, while H & I were in Germany visiting family, we took the train into Frankfurt for a day of sight-seeing and adventures. The sun even came out to play for a while, making the chilly January weather a little more bearable. Frankfurt is such a city of contrasts. It is known for being the only German city with a significant number of skyscrapers, yet we stuck to the Old City instead. Skyscrapers aren’t nearly as pretty as Gothic churches.
