I know it’s November, but let’s take a moment to head back to those glorious days of summer. Remember how it was hot and smokey all month long in August? Veronica & Tom, who you may remember from their Spokane engagement session, planned a beautiful garden wedding in August. They were worried about having problems with the smoke, but the weather was clear and stunning the day of their wedding and it was perfect.
Anyway, today I’m blogging their beautiful portraits, because we were able to take advantage of doing a first look early on in the day, and then sneak out during dinner for some gorgeous golden hour portraits. These two were so fun to photograph, and they traipsed through a field without question to take photos by a tree that I thought was amazing. All in all, we probably spent about 45 minutes doing portraits, but we were able to take some amazing photos — and all in a neighborhood and garden! :) You can get stunning photos anywhere.
I’ll be sharing more about their wedding on Thursday, when I blog the rest of it, but I wanted to point out something sweet that they did. After their first look, Veronica & Tom exchanged letters, and took a moment to read them. Annie & Zach exchanged letters too, instead of doing a first look, and I think it’s so neat to write a love letter to your spouse on the wedding day, no matter how you exchange them!
