If you’re hesitant to book a fresh 48 (aka: squish session) for the hospital, here’s a story for you. This young man arrived right in the middle of a 72 hour trip of mine. Mama knew I was going to be out of town, and she let me know after he arrived that he had arrived rather quickly. His quick arrival got him a couple days in the NICU hotel, which means we weren’t able to do a squish session with him in the hospital.
So, on the afternoon after they got home, I went to visit them at home. And we did this super cozy, in home session. All snuggled up with mom and dad and big brother in bed. If you’re worried about missing your squish session, don’t let that stop you from booking one. Converting it to an in-home session is easy as can be. I’ve got space for two more Spokane/Coeur d’Alene* area squish sessions in November and December. I’ll be taking three in January. Contact me for more information and to get your due date on my calendar.
With that said, please meet Declan. He is the cutest, snuggliest, newborn I got to hold…that week. :)
* If you’re in Eastern Washington or Northern Idaho, but further away from Spokane, I’d love to do a squish session with you! I’m not taking them this winter, but if your due date is in March or beyond, please get in touch! <3
