Natalie & Sam‘s wedding on Saturday did not go as planned. About two hours before their ceremony, the skies opened up and it poured. The kind of downpour that triggers flash flood warnings. Then it got better. And about 20 minutes before the ceremony, it started pouring again. And so, when it wasn’t letting up, the ceremony and reception were relocated, they were married under a tent while their friends and family watched from the covered porch, and the reception went inside. In a crazy twist, the rain let up as the ceremony started, and by the end of the day, the sun came out. And the dance party lasted late into the night.
Here’s a little preview of their day, but I cannot wait to share more. Natalie & Sam, thank you for bringing me up to the Methow, and having me as part of your wedding day. It was amazing.
