How’s your Monday going? I’m trying to plow through my to-do list and dirty laundry pile, because this month has been all kinds of craziness with travel. I’m out of town almost half of this month! Next month calms down, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be a few months before I get a weekend “off” again. When I’m in town, I’m working to get ready for wedding season and spring. It’s coming!
I’m so glad I got to go to Seattle last weekend to meet up with Sam & Natalie for their engagement session. The weekend went something like this: sun, rain, sun, drizzle, sun, pouring down rain, drizzle while sunny, rain, mist, and more sun. I love Seattle, but this time of year drives me crazy because I want to be done wearing boots, but the rain soaks all my other shoes. We managed to escape the worst of the rain on Saturday by hanging out in Ballard at one of their favorite bars, and ducking out to take photos in Ballard during less stormy moments. I’ve mentioned before how much I love Ballard, and I was so excited to shoot there and at Discovery Park this last weekend. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Discovery Park (I really can’t remember when I was there last) and I realized that there are house. In the park! And if I was still living in Seattle, you can bet that’d be my dream spot to live. It’d be like living in the forest in the middle of the city!
Stay tuned for more in the next couple weeks! And later this summer when Natalie & Sam get married in Mazama. :)
