On the morning of Lizz & Ken‘s wedding, I ran out and grabbed a couple extra umbrellas. The clouds were getting thick, and I knew they had a large wedding party. I figured it was better to be prepared, plus I had no idea what the weather was like in Sagle (which, if you didn’t know, is on the other side of the bridge from Sandpoint), because we’d had such a crazy summer. In the end, we didn’t use those umbrellas really at all, because by the time the wedding started, the smoke, the clouds, and the crazy weather had blown away. All that was left was blue skies, and a groom waiting to see his beautiful bride.
Lizz & Ken were married in the backyard of Lizz’s parents’ house, surrounded by the people they love, and beautiful scenery. Lizz said it best in her vows: that she was getting married on that day, and no rain, or smoke, or wind could stop this wedding. She just didn’t realize that it was all going to happen at the same time!
While the weather caused everyone a little stress (and moved the reception inside), it ended up being a beautiful day, and the only tears that were shed were happy ones. Lizz and Ken, thank you so very much for having me along for your wedding. I wish you all the best!!
