I teased you months ago by posting a sneak peek from Kate & Leo’s wedding. And then I didn’t follow through — shame on me. Although, if you visited me at Bridal Fest, you might have seen a sampling of these images there. Kate & Leo got married in a beautiful little ceremony at the Cataldo Mission in North Idaho. I’m absolutely in love with this little church and the adorable house/museum next door. It threatened to rain and the day was chilly, but at times, the sun came out and it never rained! I was a little ice cube by the end of the night, but it was a blast.
Kate’s mom made her dress, and they did all the flowers themselves too. Such talented people. Every little detail were picked to reflect Kate & Leo’s relationship and interests. Dinner was catered by David’s Pizza and the pies were from the always-fantastic White Box Pies in Spokane. Can you tell these two are Gonzaga alumni?? They had s’mores and their favors were pint glasses. Trust me, those pint glasses have been put to good use in my home!
Not only did Kate & Leo have an unplugged ceremony, but they asked that photos of the event not be shared on social media. To help with that, I’ve made sure to keep their identities mostly secret. So if you know who Kate & Leo are, please keep their names and other identifying information out of the comments to help respect their wishes. If you have questions about planning an unplugged wedding ceremony or a social media free wedding, please let me know!
