Last month, I left Seattle in the wee hours of the morning to take possibly the most beautiful drive in Washington state. In fact, on my way back, I snapped a photo that is still one of my favorites, at Diablo Lake. I didn’t know it at the time, but as I drove up the North Cascades Highway to a small town named Mazama, I fell in love with the scenery along Highway 20. My journey ended at the Mazama Ranch House, where I shot Jessie & Adam’s wedding with Christine Pobke. Jessie & Adam live in Seattle, but wanted to have their wedding at the Mazama Ranch House. I can’t think of a better place to have a wedding in the Methow Valley! Not only was the drive mind-bogglingly beautiful and oh, so calm, but their wedding was fantastic as well. With all their friends together, and family pitching in to help, this wedding is one of my favorites so far. Thank you to Christine, Jessie, Adam, and all their family and friends for such a beautiful day. I had a blast!
PS. All this yummy food was provided by the lovely people at Stewart Dietz Catering in Twisp. I’m still dreaming about their grilled peaches!
