I started looking forward to Erin & Andrew’s wedding the day I met with Erin and her mom last fall. I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding filled with great people. And it was! It was also the perfect way to kick off my 2015 wedding season. Gorgeous weather, beautiful venue, and wonderful people. As I mentioned in their preview post, Erin & Andrew have been living in both the US and New Zealand since they met. Sometimes they’ve lived in the same country, sometimes in different countries. When you split your life between multiple countries, being able to have all your people in one spot is something that is so rare and precious. And for me to be a part of that? It’s an honor.

Erin wanted to do a big reveal of her in her wedding dress to her family and it was amazing. If you are on the fence about doing a first look with your partner, how about doing a little first look with your family — or you dad?! One of the things I learned at this wedding is that everyone in New Zealand seems to be crazy about rugby. So the single men got together in a group and Andrew tossed a rugby ball to them. It was a bit of a scramble!
