I shared a sneak peek of Danielle & Dan’s engagement session back in July, but I wanted to share a few more images before their wedding later this month! Yay!
About half of my weddings are out of state couples or the weddings themselves aren’t local, and we don’t end up doing an engagement session. So when I get to do one, and it’s at a couple of my favorite local spots? I consider that a win.
The first half of this session was at Chaps, which if you haven’t been, is a fantastic little spot. Go now! Then we drove up to Greenbluff for the sunset and shot at High Country Orchard. They’re also a wedding venue (although not Danielle & Dan’s venue) and Greenbluff is one of my favorite spots to spend an weekend off.
Danielle & Dan, I can’t wait for your wedding!!
This last shot is not from High Country Orchard. But as I was driving off the hill that Greenbluff is on, I looked out and saw this sunset. So I pulled over, and ran out to the edge of a field to catch this beauty. And shortly after I got back in my car, I almost hit a deer that ran out right in front of me. I slammed on the breaks, missed the deer, and kept my camera gear from sliding off the passenger seat. Win. :)
